Last month I participated in my first Nike Run Club Challenge to run a 50K, 31.06 miles, over the course of the month. This was an undertaking to say the least, but a much needed form of motivation to reignite my love for running and reaching my fitness goals. I was asked several times what on God's green earth possessed to participate in this challenge and how I managed to complete it, with 3 days to spare I might add. My answer was simple: I wanted to fall back in love with running so I just did it (tehe).
The new batch of guided runs and completing the March 50K Challenge got me ready to launch our spring Workout Wednesday series! With spring here in full force and summer coming around the bend, I want to feel confident and like my best self at the beach, the pool, on vacation, and pretty much everyday! We have some challenging, but fun workouts in store along with my personal tips and meal prep solutions. I'll be taking on another 50K Challenge for April while also (gulp) going for the 100K, which is 62.13 miles! Not sure if I'll make it, but I'll never know until I choose to go for it either! Check out today's workout below! Remember to warm up with some cardio and a good stretch to wake up those muscles!
