3 Things You Can Make With Your MRS That Aren't a Shake

 I love a meal replacement shake or smoothie as much as the next girl. They're super convenient for those of us who are always on the go and a healthy option that keeps you away from the driveway. However, sometimes you gotta spice it up and try new things when a shake doesn't isn't tickling your fancy. Enter meal replacement muffins!

Full disclosure, this was my first attempt with make my meal replacement shake powder into a muffin. I usually make it into pancakes, but I thought this would be a great opportunity to try something new and see how I like it! And, OMG, you guys! I had these for breakfast this morning and they were so good. And so fulfilling. It was a quick and easy breakfast this morning. I popped them in the microwave, cut up some fruit, added some almond butter, and BOOM! Breakfast is served. Check out the recipe and a few other ideas using the same ingredients below!










Muffins

Ingredients
1 Advocare Meal Replacement Shake pouch OR 1/4 cup of protein powder
2 eggs
1 very ripe banana
2 tablespoons of flour
1 pinch of baking soda

Directions for Muffins
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
2. Combine all ingredients together into a bow and mix to form a liquid batter.
3. Evenly pour into muffin tins.
4. Bake for 10 minutes.

Pancakes

Ingredients
1 Advocare Meal Replacement Shake pouch OR 1/4 cup of protein powder
2 eggs
1 very ripe banana

Directions for Pancakes
1. Turn burner on to a medium-low heat.
2. Spray cooking pan with non-stick spray and heat.
3. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix to form a liquid batter. 
4. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into pan and allow it to cook until you start to see tiny bubbles in the batter. This should take about a minute and a half. Then flip them.
5. Cook on opposite side for an additional minute. Remove pancake from pan.

Protein Bites

Ingredients
2  Advocare Meal Replacement Shake pouches OR 1/2 cup of protein powder
3/4 of a cup of peanut butter
4 tablespoons of honey
1 cup of rolled oats

Directions for Protein Bites
1. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix together.
2. Place batter in refrigerator for a minimum of 20 minutes to allow the batter to harden.
3. Remove batter from fridge and roll into approximately 12 bites.
