Friday Favorites

Hey y'all! Welcome to another Friday Favorites on the blog! It's amazing to me how quickly the weeks fly by when you starting posting something on a regular basis. I feel like it was just a couple of days ago that I was putting together last week's favorites. Anyways

Favorite PurchaseNike Pegasus 34

I mentioned in last week's Friday Favorites that Nike rewarded me with a coupon for a new pair of running shoes for completing a 5k every Sunday in July. The sneakers I ordered arrived this week and I am so in love with them. The color way is so sleek and cool and don't get me started on how comfortable they are! Not to mention they match a majority black workout wardrobe. If you're in the market for new running shoes or have a slight addiction to them like me, I would definitely recommend this pair.

Favorite Flashback: Backstreet Boys turn 20!
You read that right- 20 years ago the Backstreet Boys first self-titled album released. If that doesn't make you feel old right now, I'm not sure what will. And if you haven't heard of the Backstreet Boys then go hop on iTunes or Apple Music and have a listen to one of the greatest boy bands. And I don't say greatest with a bias opinion. I say greatest because they are the ONLY boy band still together and touring after 20 years!

Favorite Thing I Did this Week: Poe Mill Mural Photos
Earlier this week one of best friends and I went to, what is formerly known as, Poe Mill in downtown Greenville. There's a really cool mural that was the perfect back drop for some photos for a project we're collaborating on. I don't get to see him very often so when I do it pretty much makes my entire week and reminds me of why he's one of my best friends. Here is one of my favorite photos I took from that afternoon. I can't wait for y'all to see all of the others we took later on!

Favorite Thing I Got in the Mail: A Card from Layne
I don't know how she does it, but somehow she always knows just what I need and when I need it. One night this past week I came home from work to mail on my bed from DeKalb, Illinois where my friends Nick and Layne moved to at the beginning of the summer. I laughed at first because she sent the envelope with cat and hamster stamps and made sure I saw how cute they were. When I opened the card it was just what I needed after the week I had. It made me remember how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my circle of friends and that I don't know what I'd do without them sometimes.
