Are Healthy Desserts a Thing?

I have a sweet tooth, like a very serious one. Most people have one particular thing that can serve as the vein of their healthy lifestyle, but I like all of the things. Eating, exercising, and living the way I do, sweets don't always match up with what I am trying to accomplish for myself.

A couple of weeks ago I was at Smoothie King, trying not to pass out from exhaustion after the gym, and saw these protein bars while I was waiting in line. For me, protein bars are either a hit or miss. And as expensive as some of them can be, sometimes it's not worth the expense to just throw it out after one bite. However, a birthday cake protein bar sounded like the bee's knees to me. I figured I'd try it this one time and if I didn't like it then lesson learned.

Y'all these protein bars are AMAZING! They taste just like their designated flavor and with 20 grams of protein and just 1 gram of sugar, there's nothing that could be better. For me, it takes the guilt out of wanting something sweet because I can get so many benefits from eating one of these bars instead of an actual piece of birthday cake. Since trying the birthday cake flavor I have ordered a box from Amazon, which works out perfectly because it saves money to buy them in bigger quantities and more flavors. They are perfect for when you're out running errands and will need a snack to tide you over to your next meal or when you're leaving the gym and have just worked off everything you ate beforehand. You can bet I'll have these in my gym bag on a regular basis!
