Workout Wednesday: Week #1

 I've given you guys my some of my healthy dinner recipes, a glimpse into my ever-growing Nike gear collection, and my ultimate workout motivator playlist. The only thing missing from that equation is what I actually do when I go to the gym. With the official start of summer fast-approaching, my trainer has graciously agreed to collaborate with me to create Workout Wednesday, a 5 week series that include content covering the cardio and weight training workouts he creates for me on a regular basis.
 I've been told on several occasions 'you're better than me' or 'work out for the both of us' when I mention to friends and family that I'm headed to the gym. Most people see the gym as the enemy and grow tired of doing the same thing day after day. Well THROW THAT OUT THE WINDOW! These workouts will be far from repetitive and will have you looking great and feeling even better! Start each of the workouts with a really good stretch and at least 20 minutes of cardio. I'm impartial to the treadmill or the stair climber, but do cardio that is going to be beneficial for you, whether that's the treadmill, the elliptical, the stationary bike, or running outdoors. Just get that heart pumping!

My workouts are different every time, which allows me to improve different areas everyday. Yes, the workouts can be challenging, but they are designed to strengthen, tone, and make you feel better. However, as I am often told, you know your body and your limits better than anyone. Always give an exercise a try, but if you're body is telling you no then you need to listen.

I hope you'll give these workouts a try, and let me know how you're progressing over the next 5 weeks! Remember, everyday is another opportunity to reach that goal.
